Metchosin Grown Society is a community-based, BC-registered non-profit dedicated to strengthening local agriculture, food security, and community connection.
We provide accessible opportunities for residents to learn sustainable growing practices, share resources, and participate in a collaborative community garden that supports environmental stewardship and local resilience.
We believe shared effort and collaboration build stronger, healthier communities.
We promote responsible land stewardship and environmentally sound growing practices.
We support lifelong learning through hands-on agricultural education.
The Metchosin Grown Society community garden has been built through the generous support of local businesses, farms, and residents. This includes financial contributions, materials, in-kind services, and an estimated 2,000 volunteer hours.
